About

BIO TEXT

“Duncan is a rare breed in that he gets ideas in every discipline. He brings technical innovation to everything he does and is armed with a great eye for detail and art direction. His appreciation of photography and film make him both an interesting and useful guy to have around. Furthermore, you know D-Bone will get shit done as he proves highly autonomous. A genuinely thoughtful chap who is well liked wherever he goes. He also happens to sport a fine beard, is a snappy dresser and a true gentleman to boot.”

EXECUTIVE CREATIVE DIRECTOR - 72andSunny

In 2017 he joined Imagination London as Creative Director for Ford Europe. He was responsible for the launch of the new Focus across European markets and behind the Ford 'My Focus' campaign which saw Imagination secure both the prelaunch and launch of the new Ford Focus 2018. A 40m x 6m high Artificial Intelligence Interactive Installation, plus a series of films showing real Focus owners all made part of the live launch for all the leading European Automotive press at HereEast in London.

From late 2014 to 2017, Duncan was Creative Partner at CUSTOM, a platform for Fashion Influencers and online fashion retail. Together with a team of ex-Google employees and the advice of Steve Vranakis (ECD Google Labs) and Marc Chalmers (ECD Vice Media), plus Susie Lau (Style Bubble) as one of the top fashion influencers globally - CUSTOM was an amazing product and opportunity which might have hit the market a bit too early.

"A huge loss you are - a great character, brilliant brain, a real carer, team player, super sharp, diverse and adaptable gentleman. Gonna really miss having you around matey, contributing to the work and injecting the Bone brilliance."

CREATIVE DESIGN DIRECTOR - W+K Portland

Duncan set up DISARM with former W+K London college Chris Condron in 2012. The studio focused on fashion, culture and art. In two years DISARM worked on several projects with Dasha Zhukova's GARAGE Magazine and also with the Barbican on the Marcel Duchamp season campaign.

He has also freelanced for some of the leading agencies including 72andSunny, BETC, R/GA and many others.

His films have screened at various European Film and Fashion Film festivals, including the London Short Film Festival, London Fashion Week and at The London Design Museum.

“Duncan is a special creative talent - equally at home with innovative new technology, good-old-fashioned advertising and high-quality art direction. He's an incredibly useful guy to have on the team. He's capable of responding to a client brief with original ideas which use technology in new ways and following development and execution all the way to delivery to ensure the whole experience looks and feels perfect. His work on Nike and Honda has been outstanding. I can recommend him wholeheartedly.”
